Lifehack #1: Add towel rails to your door to save some storage space

If there’s one thing that’s a constant headache in the bathroom, it’s storage. Whether it’s beauty products, appliances, or towels, everything seems to take up a lot of space. Of course, you could always add more storage in the form of cupboards or baskets, but they take up valuable floorspace. One handy lifehack you could try is to add a couple of towel rails to the reverse of your bathroom door to save space in the bulk of the room. By ‘stacking’ one on top of the other, you could have room for up to three or four towels without sacrificing any floorspace at all – pretty nifty, right?

Lifehack #2: Make your shower new again with a plastic bag

No matter how well you treat your showerhead, there will come a time when you’ll need to clean it. The severity will depend on whether you’re in a hard or soft water area, but eventually you’ll likely see some limescale or mould build-up as well as other general nastiness. One handy solution is to remove your showerhead, fill a small plastic bag (like a sandwich bag) with white vinegar, tie off the neck with a rubber band, and leave it overnight. The next day, rinse it off, and bingo! All clean, and likely operating at full-strength once again. One great example is using the natural shape of your bathroom’s washbasin as an amplifier of sorts. Simply double-check that your basin is clean and dry, then lay your smartphone inside. The curve and depth of the basin will amplify the volume of your music. Not quite room-filling, but better than nothing, for sure.
